John M. Montgomery II is a content creator and travel influencer based in New Jersey. John's love of travel began during a family vacation to Europe when he was a high school student, and it inspired him to pursue a career in international business. While getting his MBA, John lived in France for a semester and spent time in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo for a class focused on the economics in Brazil.

Since 2008, John has made multiple trips abroad annually (personal and business), earning him the reputation as a trustworthy resource for information on destinations, travel gear, and lodging options around the globe. John has visited 50 countries during his travels, nearly half of which more than once. John really enjoys traveling with family and has been to over 20 countries with his parents. John also likes to travel solo and with friends, and he hopes to continue inspiring others to do the same.

John is also very passionate about giving back and in 2019 set up the John M. Montgomery II NBMBAA conference annual scholarship at the University of North Florida, where he received his MBA with concentrations in international business and finance. This scholarship covers all travel expenses and conference fees for one minority MBA student a year to attend the National Black MBA conference. As a result, John received the Pay it Forward award from the University of North Florida, recognizing a UNF Alumnus who has significantly given their time and talents to help students achieve their professional goals.

John works in sales for a German based chemical company and is an American Council on Germany Young Leader (2019), an Executive Leadership Council (ELC) Institute Fellow, a Life Member of the University of Florida's Alumni Association - where he received his bachelor's degree, and a proud member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc.
